In Taunton, Manuel Martin, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home on September 18, 2024 while surrounded by his loving family. Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife Joan (McCarthy) Martin.

He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Anthony Martin and Izaura (Andrade Martin. Manuel was a resident of Taunton and formerly of Berkley. He attended Berkley schools and was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth High School. Manuel was a longtime employee of the Merkins Chocolate Factory in Mansfield, where he was the supervisor of the shipping department, he also ran his own landscaping company until recently when his health declined.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching western movies, playing cards, working on hot rod cars, snowmobiling, hosting and cooking for holidays, and above all spending time with his family.
