John Meillon

While the movie may be called Crocodile Dundee, it was actually John Meillon’s character, Wally, who stole the show as Dundee’s on-screen partner.

It was such an important part of the movie that John would get to reprise the role of Wally in the Crocodile Dundee sequel that followed!

Unfortunately, Wally would pretty much be the final role he played.

John passed away in 1989 from cirrhosis of the liver. He left behind a legacy filled with accolades for his work in theater.
